Michael Jackson died today. :( I'm really sad and it is almost surreal. If you know me well, you know that I love Michael Jackson. I'm sad...I feel like this not real. The interesting part is that this is my father's birthday.
I am an English teacher and an aspiring author. I am a graduate of the University of Florida and the University of Central Florida. I believe education is freedom and in the spirit of that, I write to be free of all the drama of the world. This is a collection the "things that make me go hummmm" as well as topics that I find to be of interest as a woman of color in America. I believe social action is key in our progression as people in this country.
